Without adequate and consequential reparations, there will be no closure to the pains from the atrocities of slave trade, which remains a major blight on the world that professes equality and justice. African leaders in the motherland must unite and prioritise the demand for reparatory justice by joining hands with Black Africans in the Diaspora, corporate organisations, the global anti-slave trade coalitions, civil society organisations, the media and other stakeholders, playing obligatory roles.
